"No one" is the second one of my favorite songs. "No one" has a very positive and optimistic message. I like it because I believe that when love between pairs is very deep, this love overcome all obstacles, such as the distance. Many people disagree with this concept but I know that is very complicated because is about having trust and the most important thing is the confidence. "With you until the end of the world".

and American songwriter-producers KerryBrothers, Jr. and George D. Harry for Keys' third studio album, As I Am (2007). Released as the album's lead single in September 2007, this is overall Keys' most successful song worldwide to date, having topped several singles charts, including the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 for five consecutive weeks.

"No One" was ranked number 42 on Billboard's Hot 100 Best Songs of All Time and number 14 on Billboard's Best Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs of All Time. "No One" won Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song at the 2008 Grammy Awards on February 10, 2008. During the ceremony, Keys performed the song in a duet with John Mayer.

Keys told MTV News Canada that the song "is really talking about the way that in relationships, the way that so many things are around you all the time to try to distract you. And even though people may talk and say whatever they may want to say, but then no one can get in the way of this."

The song was first heard in August 2007 after Keys included a clip of the song in a newsletter on her official website and fan club. It was released officially on September 10, 2007, and its radio premiere was on Atlanta's WVEE on August 29.

Keys performed a medley of "No One" with George Michael's "Freedom! '90 at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards on September 9. Remixes of the song featuring Lil' Kim, Cassidy, Damian Marley, Junior Reid, Beenie Man, Barbee, and Kanye West exist.

It was ranked at number three on the recap of The 10 Best Songs of 2007 by Entertainment Weekly.

The song's music video, directed by Justin Francis, premiered on BET on September 24, 2007; it debuted on 106 and Park at number ten the following day, and has sinced peaked at number one. It premiered on Yahoo! Music on September 25 at number five and peaked at number one, and it premiered on Total Request Live on October 4 and peaked at number one. It debuted on VH1's VSpot Top 20 Countdown at number three, peaking at number one. The video was ranked number twenty-two on VH1's Top 40 Videos of 2007.

The video for "No One" consists of four scenarios: the first one shows Keys lying on a chair in an empty room; the second one is a musical instrument-decorated room in which Keys sings accompanied by a keyboard; in the third one Keys is initially alone, playing the piano on a rainy street, and she later finds herself surrounded with dozens of people; in the fourth and final one Keys is in a blue-lit nightclub. The video ends with a gear divided into four fractions, each one featuring a previously shown scenario, and with Keys lying on the chair in the same room shown at the very beginning of the video.

As of September 2008, the official video alone has had over sixty-five million views on YouTube, and eventually peaked at number six on the website's rank of all-time most viewed videos as well as number four on the rank of all-time most viewed videos in the music category.

"Umbrella" is a song by singer Rihanna. It was written by Terius "The Dream" Nash, Christopher Stewart, Kuk Harrell and Jay-Z for Rihanna's third album, Good Girl Gone Bad (2007). Featuring vocals by Jay-Z, it was released as the album's lead single during the second quarter of 2007.

It has, in the short time since its original release, been covered by other artists in one form or another. Following a highly successful chart run around the world and a positive reception from music critics, the song achieved number one on Entertainment Weekly magazine's list of the Ten Best Singles of 2007, as well as number three on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 Best Songs of 2007; it was also named Song of the Year in Blender magazine's Readers' Poll 2007.

The music video for "Umbrella" was directed by Chris Applebaum on April 13, 2007. It premiered on April 26 at the thisisrihanna.com website. The video was released on May 11, and reached the number one spot for eight weeks.

The video features Jay-Z rapping in the beginning while in a rain of sparks. Rihanna is then shown singing in a steamy place. In the first chorus, Rihanna walks around en pointe while in the rain. In the second verse, she is seen dancing with an umbrella in a different place.

Later, she is painted silver and posing in several positions while nude. At the end of the video, Rihanna is again dancing with an umbrella while in a shower of sparks falling like rain.

"Umbrella" reached the number one spot in a number of countries. It topped the charts in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Poland, Austria, Belgium, Norway and Switzerland at the same time. It peaked at the top spot in the United Kingdom for ten weeks in a row from May 20 to July 29, 2007. It was the longest running number one song since "Love Is All Around" by Wet Wet Wet in 1994 (that song spent 15 weeks). It was knocked off the number one spot in the UK by Timbaland's "The Way I Are".

The song's reign at number one in the UK happened when the country was hit by extreme rainfall and flooding, which led some people to jokingly suggest the two events were related, calling it the "Rihanna Curse". Interestingly in Greece (the single's worst performing market) "Umbrella" was released at a time when people were suffering through a summer of several heatwaves topping 45C/113F and the worst forest fires of modern history, killing 60.

The song only reached number fourteen in the Greek singles chart. "Umbrella" was at number one in the American Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks and in the Australian ARIA Charts for six weeks.

Book review

Where you lead the Heart

In 1994, Susana Tamaro makes her debut in her third novel named “Where you lead the Heart”. Susana is an Italian writer, she was born in 1957, and she studied cinematography and work in Rome doing some documentaries. After that, she has dedicated all of her life in the literature; what is more, this book has been different to other books that she usually has written, because it is supported in a fascinating epistolary monologue. The main characters are Olga (grandmother); Cecilia (daughter) and Juliana (granddaughter). Also, since it´s was published in 1993, the novel has been very successful. In Italy with this intimate and epistolary work the author conquered thirteen million readers worldwide.

The story begins when seeing imminent the end of her life, Olga (grandmother) decides to writer to granddaughter about her life in a long letter. She tell to her granddaughter about her feelings and how she fell in love, sadness, illness, values and social prejudices that she has experienced with pain and enjoy.

The narration is dotted with small details of family relationship between grandmother and granddaughter. Those details are very emotional, are full of intimate, sensitive and authentic style. The grandmother uses the letters to move forward from now without lies in life, taking as a single thermometer to judge their moments confusing the value of conscience and whispers of the heart. The wind of Trieste, place where develop the plot, the atmospheric phenomena to bring to book a tone mysterious and ghostly. This book is a diary of confession.

Finally, I recommend this book because is a book very interesting, the book has exquisite narrative, correct locations and the main characters have characteristics very good.

Technology is making communication easier in today's world, but some people think technology is affecting communication because some people use a computer screen than face to face contact for its main means of communication. What is your opinion on it?

THE JOURNALISM ON THE INTERNET

The technology is advancing at the speed of light, for example, nowadays, new technology has made journalism interactive, and everybody can access it easily. This aspect has generated a new concept in journalism because I think that people believe any person can become a journalist and this in not true, because I believe that a person requires being a professional background to practice journalism.

First of all, journalism on internet has a lot of advantages and disadvantages. I agree with the recognized American journalist Tom Johnson because He expresses the idea that in the topic the journalism the speed on audio and video is one thing very important thing. Moreover, it is necessary the skill to contact a variety of sources of information in the world about a problem. On the other hand, I believe that young journalist tends to believe that everything that appears on the net is truth and this maybe one of the great mistakes because many things that have been published on the internet come from informal sources.

Moreover, the creation of blogs has caused controversy because those are fashion or a speech of interaction on the net? I think that the blogs have both characteristics because it has an interesting technology whose access is easy. For this reason, these kinds of spaces have a lot of people who write in a virtual yearbook. Blogs also have the benefit of contact to a lot of people in different places, to know the reality of many cities. Anyone can, with a little of effort, contribute with any conversation.

In addition, is important say that, with the use of blogs, many people become a journalist, since there are many facilities to produce and transmit information, but, it is important to know that a mechanism of self-correcting exists handling information. There are moments when people can capture the essence of the news as any journalist. Most of bloggers are not professional in journalist; it is more a topic of likes and dislikes that express an opinion of something.

Lastly, the advance of technology in internet is an important tool for doing journalism. Also this kind of communication makes possible a global connection.

¿Why it is important to create a blog on the internet?

Although, in Colombia most people don’t have a computer, not even Internet, but there isn’t doubt that nowadays Internet has became in a mass media, which has generated so much impact on people. But, it is important to remember that the mass media such as internet have advantages and disadvantages. For example, the creation of blogs on Internet is a very important tool to exchange information and expressing ideas and opinions about anything. I have many blogs such as low-intermediatealics, which is one of those, I develop skills for writing, listening, reading, talking and, today, I can say I am able to do exercises in English.

In my blog, which is a personal page, I can upload information, essays, photos, audio, video and internet links about every topics related with topics that we are learning on the level of English low intermediate.

Other aspect is that some people who navigate on Internet can see my information and could write opinions, comments or critics about my blog. Those sugestions or opinios in my blog, or in any blog, help to correct mistakes.

"Good bye Lenin" film review

"Good bye Lenin" was filmed as an exhalation to the national Russian patriotism and it is exhibited from time to time in the cable television. It won the prize of the European cinema 2003 to the best melodrama satirical movie. Good bye to Lenin was directed by Wolfang Becker. The film was produced in 2003 in Germany. The cast is Daniel Bruhl as Alex and Katrin Sass as Christiane.

Good to bye to Lennin begins with the awakening of a devotee communist mother, Christiane, from a comma. This state was caused after seeing her son, Alex , participating in a strike. The lady wakes up 8 months later the wall had been demolished and the democratic Germany is on the verge of merging with the capitalist federal Germany. As they want to avoid a shock to Christiane, Alex and his sister, Arione, avoid that their mother knows the actual situaution of the society.


the movie is a little repetitive because the news show the same tv comercials all the time. Moreover the reporter critics the actual situation with humor and satire. Although the film shows the family events the real topic is the present corruption of the German Society.

I can recommend “Good Bye to Lenin” with all confidence because the argument of movie is good and Wolfang registers the changes produced in Germany between 1989 and 1990. A CANNON SHOT incomplete

Felipe Martinez makes his debut in Bluff as a director and scriptwriter of a film. He is graduated in the College of Arts and Entertainment (TAI) Madrid; He is well recognized audiovisually as publisher and director of realities, competitions and short films. Bluff has been the best Colombian film of comedy and suspense of last times, the movie does not seem to be done in Colombia because it is supported in the thriller. The cast includes; the main characters Federico Lorusso as Nicolás; Catalina Aristizábal as Margarita; Víctor Mallarino as Mallarino and Carolina Gómez as Alexandra. Bluff leaves in the light public to beginning the 2007 amid the acme of Colombian films recognized internationally. This movie is the representation of Colombia at the next Cannes Film Festival.

The film, based on deception, begins when Nicolás (Federico Lorusso), recognized photographer tries to extort Mallarino (Victor Mallarino) with some photos of him with his lover Alexandra (Carolina Gomez), threating to show his wife Margarita (Catalina Aristizábal), also former girlfriend of Nicolás. Finally, I can recommend “Bluff” with all confidence because this film is characterized by has a cast of first: good direction and impeccable musicality correct locations, which, undoubtedly, could steal the show due to their successful appearance on the essentials points of the plot. In the topic audiovisual the scenes are pleasant since the camera is not fixed all the time. Moreover Felipe Martinez plays with the movement of frames, generating tension and expectation.
